What's the Stich

So I have been dabbling with plushies to quench my desire to create sculptures and feed my addiction to fabric.  Like with quilting I enjoying either making up my own patterns or trying to figure out how to make quilts I have seen.  It's all about the problem solving and figuring out how things work.  Sometimes I do use patterns but mostly to learn techniques.  One of my first plushie I used a pattern from We Lived Happily Ever After.   I had it's difficulties but I learned a lot about making different plains simply and in the end my cousin was happy for new pal.

I am still trying more patterns from this site but with additions to make it my own.
I hope to post more learning experiences soon!

Hopper Lids

We form parts called hopper lids and me the doodle bug I illustrated the label on the charts white board.

Dustin really liked it and encouraged me to continue working with.
I'm glad I did continue working on the surreal nature of this.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

The last 3 months have been busy busy.
It has been a blur of brochures, manuals for various machines in the shop and a brand standard the will take effect this month. I've learned a lot about color, printing and more about plastic as well!
More projects then time...  My portfolio is drooling a bit!

East Yard Setting

I was setting in my grandparents yard.
I have spent the majority of my summers here since I was born (and I was born in July).
I want to share my little slice of paradise and persevere it to look back on.

There are poor homeless sheep scattered across western ks looking for a home!

True Story:
My grandparents have a impulse buy sheep (named Barbie) that once lived in the living room but when it grew up it became a companion for a couple of orphaned colts (Video 1 and 2 of one).
.  Than when the colts outgrew there yard she became a yard sheep.
